Special
Special silicone and gel materials at JOME cover duties that general-purpose adhesives and sealants cannot handle: aggressive fluids, skin contact and heat paths that must pass through a soft interface. They are chosen when a standard sealant would swell or a thermal gap needs a compliant filler rather than a rigid bond.
Fluorosilicone sealants are the usual answer when a joint sees solvents, fuels, lubricants or gasoline, because the fluorinated polymer resists the swelling that breaks down a conventional silicone. Two-part versions cure through the full depth for larger seals, while one-part RTV grades suit formed-in-place gaskets and repair work. Medical-grade silicone gels are formulated for skin contact and are used in scar management and similar wearable applications, where softness and long-term stability matter more than bond strength.
Thermal gap filling
Paste-like thermal conductive silicone gels fill uneven gaps between a hot component and its heat sink. They stay compliant after cure, so they absorb thermal expansion and vibration instead of pumping out or cracking, and they can be dispensed automatically.
JOME supplies these special products individually: a 2-Part fluorosilicone sealant, the medical-grade 2-part silicone gel for scar repair and a two-component paste-shaped thermal conductive silicone gel. All are grouped in the Special category.
