JOMS 5707 Flexible skin adhesive is a two-component platinum-catalyzed transparent silicone elastomer. When the AB components are mixed and cured, they form a soft material with cushioning properties that can bond to the skin and be peeled off. This adhesive has unique physical properties, making it suitable for adhesion, bonding, and self-adhesive materials in biomedical applications. The elastomer adhesive is composed of platinum-catalyzed polydimethylsiloxane, with a curing temperature range from room temperature to 200℃, and no by-products are produced.

PS: The operation time is tested with the amount of 100g of mixing agent.
The solidified state data were measured under the condition of 25℃ and 55%RH.
The penetration of the adhesive after changing the ratio and curing increases with the decrease of the amount of component B, and the colloid becomes softer and more viscous; conversely, the penetration value is small when the amount of component B increases, and the colloid becomes harder and less viscous.

Operation and use of the process

A and B components are weighed in a ratio of 1:1, mixed evenly, and scraped to 0.5mm to facilitate natural foaming.

The thickness of the adhesive applied by scraping or rolling is controlled within 0.15-2mm, and it is cured at about 120℃ for about 3-5 minutes; it can also be cured in room temperature for about 1~2 hours.

Suitable for topical products in contact with skin

The primer PM 1262, which is modulated by       J O M E, can increase the adhesion of silicone gel to TPU/TPE/silicone skin.

When the room temperature is too low, the curing speed will be slow. It is recommended to heat and cure JOMS 5707 It is difficult to harden when it comes into contact with sulfur, amine and tin materials

Storage and transportation

Storage period 1 year (25℃);

Keep in the dark, avoid heat and seal;
